Default Bump Stop Replacement

Has anyone ever used these in place of the OEM bump stops? These appear to be approx 3/5 taller than stock.

Pretty sure that is what's on the shelf in the garage .that I keep for someone that needs it when I help with a job.
They were about $15 from Advance but I think they went up the last I looked.
Check the listing and I think they show for the Jaguar Xk8 with them.

those will most likely work, I used the MOOG PN: K90460 is equivalent to Jag PN: MJA2150BA for the front spring assistors (bump stops)

When Wayne and I did the Welsh front shock mounts replacement job on my wife's 2006 XK8 in early January 2016, we went with the KYB strut bellows and bump stops kit. The part number was 18845-07130021 at partsgeek.com....

Just now looked at that December 2015 invoice. It also shows the SB101 part number for KYB....

If you're feeling adventurous, you could try these Powerflex polyurethane bump stops for a VW Golf Mk 2. Last time I fitted VW oem bump stops (not sure from what car) as that is what the parts store had on offer and they fit just fine. Then I later learned about these which very well could be the same part but in polyurethane. I would love it if someone would report back with their findings from these.
