For those of you having trouble with Ca. smog I have included the correct drive cycle which allows the ECU to check and complete the testing for smog components.
The reason I am doing this is because it seems to be the worlds best kept secret. I spent a fortune trying to get my Catalytic converters to complete the cycle, even including a waiver from the smog referee, before I found this secret page from the workshop manual. All the smog experts will say, "Get on the freeway and drive 55 for 5 minutes and the Cats will pass". Wrong, The real procedure is 35-40mph for 30 seconds. Pretty hard to do in So. Cal!
