Had a GREAT time today and I can honestly say my tongue is actually tired from talking Jaguars. I'll be going out of town early next month and won't be back until August so I probably won't be able to get together again until late summer or early fall but we will definitely try to make this a monthly thing come fall.

Nice little adventure today. Drove up to Denton and Had a HUGE and tasty breakfast with Mark, Matt and Don. Mark and I drove my XKR to Decatur and dropped it off at Bob's (motorcarman) shop for a checkup and to pick up Mark's X-Type. Then back in Denton it was 3 trains and a 4 mile walk from the train station in Garland back to the house. All in all a VERY enjoyable day !!!! My thanks to Mark for setting up the meet, and to Matt and Don for attending and making my day a truly good one.

 

Glad to have met Matt, Mark, John. Sorry Luke couldn't make it!

It would be great to do this again, say in June, which would give everyone time to plan a get together. I'm willing to host. Maybe take a tour of a few winding roads and off to Tioga for some Clarks barbecue.

Need to invite the XJ folks so they can see what they are missing.

I'm open to any suggestions.

I posted a few poorly taken pictures of the Grapevine Hooters meet-up last weekend on a thread in the SouthWest Region section of the forum but I left my phone/camera in my pocket yesterday so I'm sorry Mike and Bob but I don't have any photos of yesterday... I think Matt or Don may have taken a picture or two though. Again my thanks to all that were there ! I thoroughly enjoyed it !!!

And BK (hdpartsman00xkr) still has a batch of pictures of the Grapevine meet-up that he hasn't posted yet !

 

Just got back to the Atl from Dallas, loading pics now, nice to see all had a good time in Denton yesterday.

No pics from the denton breakfast, we were all pretty much all over the parking lot...the little finger was packed and parking was scarce. Next time, hopefully we can all park together...it makes viewing, comparisons, and sharing info a little easier.

Matt, maybe you can do the next one. I'm leaving next week on an extended business trio and won't be back in Dallas until mid-August. We did have fun though but next time we need a place with a bigger parking lot.
