Can anyone identify what should be plugged in here?
Hi All,
I new to this forum so please be gentle, I have just got my 1999 XKR Convertible and after taking the battery out to change it I noticed a "plug" that has nothing plugged in to it.
Does anyone know what should be plugged in here it is located behind the battery in the boot?
It kept the battery sufficiently charged during the car's ocean voyage from England to the U.S. (assuming you are indeed in the U.S.). You can simply ignore it....
Because this is removed at the dealership during PDI, no one ever sees it. To complete the thread, here's a drawing to illustrate how it was connected.
Jaguar use a limited number of harnesses with all required connectors so you could find other unused connectors depending on the chosen options fitted to the vehicle.
