Cannot adjust mirrors
Hey guys,
I think the driver's side window master switch on my 2002 XKR needs cleaning. It used to only move the right mirror to the right. I unplugged it and plugged it back on and now it's moving the left mirror to the right only as well.
I'm assuming it's a cleaning issue.
Instructions, pictures or a video are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's only the mirror adjustment and not the window switch that's failed?
I had to replace the driver's switch on my 2005 earlier this year when the powerfold function failed.
Took the original switch apart first assuming only a contact needed cleaning. I expected to find something better than a collection of thin copper 'blade' contacts and small springs, the rear one of which was fried. You'll be lucky to fix one of these.

I had the same problem. I was able to clean the switch be very careful taking it apart. Remember where all the parts go. When I took it apart my copper blades were corroded, actually a green patina I cleaned them with 000 steel wool assembled it and it still didn't work I took it apart again cleaned the blades two more times and it's been working ever since, Over two years without a problem. After cleaning them thoroughly, I smeared them with Dielectric Grease. I had the same problem with my Ford F-350 switch It was real close to the same design.
