Can't download from the MediaFire site
I'm having a lot of trouble getting files downloaded from our MediaFire connection. This has been happening for a long time but I really need to access the parts files for my '99 XK8 so I can maybe figure out the part# for a vacuum line I think is shot.
There's a line that runs from the driver's side valve cover & UNDER the intake manifold back to the base of the TB and then over to a metal line running down along the inside of the left front fender. It may be two lines that meet at a T fitting to the TB. I'm fairly certain that vacuum line has something to do with my out of whack fuel trims, random misfires at idle, and my P0171 & P0174 codes.

I believe you're looking for the part load breather PN AJ84880
I haven't tried downloading lately but will look into. The PDF is available in the how to's
Recommend contacting SNG Barratt's for their free XK8/R parts catalog

I was able to track down the part & part# and you're right that's what I need. I also downloaded SNG's parts catalogue for the XK8's .
I also found the part online at eBay and several other suppliers and found this link to be easy to navigate and locate parts online www.jagbits.com and their prices are reasonable to boot.
Since that piece is part of the EGR system and the TB draws from the valve cover and leak in that line would draw unmetered air into the TB and cause a lean condition. At least that's my current working theory<G>

RD - jagbits is a forum sponsor - I believe they offer a discount for forum members - coupon code is FORUMS-5% - as does SNG but not sure code for them - so make sure you comment/ask when ordering
