Hello,

I am trying to make a custom panel to match my existing CF dashboard.

Perhaps any of the members with CF dash have done the 3 gauge conversion and know where to source the weave? The guy who is making my panel is having a hard time to match it.

Any help is appreciated.

I am also very interested if anyone has insight here. I had a similar inquiry yesterday from an owner of an '06 Victory edition.

 

I was talking to Chris at Mina Gallery and they are working on a set of CF overlay panels. They aren't listed on the site yet. The one for the center may work for what you need. Given him a yell.

Go to YouTube and look up "Making Carbon Fiber parts" Lots of suggestions there.
Saw a few sites the other night that featured complete kits that would easily
meet the needs of your project.

 

Thanks for your suggestions. The guy who is making my panel is a Carbon Fiber specialist. All he does is wrapping stuff in carbon fiber.

There are hundreds different weaves and that affects the final look, so what I am after is if someone has made a custom CF panel and managed to match the weave to the OEM one.

I don't want just any weave I want the RIGHT one

Did anyone find Carbon Fiber wrap to match the the OEM? I wrapped my overhead console and I like the look. But the weave is so far off I have to redo it.
