Default Change XKR 2002 from US 315 MHz to European 433 MHz

Hello members,

I am Oliver from Germany and I bought a 2002 XKR Convertible in USA and imported it to Germany. I now wanted to get the German TÜV for the Jag which worked well except a stupid rule here that the 315 MHz on which the fob and alarm works in the us is not allowed in Europe. No TÜV! So I bought the right module and fob for the Jag working on 433 MHz, disconnected the battery and exchanged the 315 MHz module by the 430 MHz module (located underneath the fuse-box in the trunk). Worked well, but when re-connecting the battery (battery is in good condition and fully loaded) immediately the alarm starts and does not go off even when when locking and opening the XKR by key. Any advise? Did I forget to change something? Any tips and tricks to make this work? Thanks a lot,

Oliver

turn the ignition on and shut it off.

then pair your 433 remotes manually or with ids

Default Worked, but now have different problem.

Hi,
it worked with connecting the battery and ignition on. No alarm any more. Thanks a lot for this hint. But now I have the challenge that both regular tail lights on both sides and the number plate lights stopped working with an information at the dash ‚check rear lights‘. Even switched the SLCM back to the original 315 MHz Module and the fault stays. Also checked the relay for back lights in the fuse box and it is ok. Any ideas? Thanks,
Oliver

Check fuses #19 and #21 (both 5A) in the trunk/boot fusebox.

19 feeds the RH tail & number plate lamps.
21 feeds the LH tail and, since your car is US spec, the rear side markers.
