Both door speakers in my XK8 convertible are dead. Do I have to remove the door panels to replace them, or are the grilles removable? Checked several threads and got contradictory information.

There are two screws in the bottom of the grill and the will come out. Might be a little fiddly to get off but once removed should give you access to replace the speakers.

It has been a while but if I recall the best way is to rotate the forward part down and then unhook the rear tab. Reverse to reinstall.
