Dennis,
The centre veneer panel has to be removed. It's secured with four spring clips:

JTIS suggests these clips should be replaced every time but I've never had problems re-using them.
With the panel removed, the Minor Instrument Pack (item 3) is secured with four self tapping screws (item 6):

After removing the self tappers, unplug the harness connector to remove the Minor Instrument Pack and access the bulbs from the rear.

Thanks for the reply and info about removing front, it wont budge, managed to scratch the wood,when you think about it all i need to do is replace a bulb.I have now given up and i will live with it
