Default Cleaned TB and Intake

Intake had white residue on the TB end. It would not come off easily so I left it.

TB had lots of carbon buildup around the butterfly. Cleaned off easily with MAF cleaner. Anyone know how to clean up that carbon buildup at the TB elbow below the butterfly valve? See photo. Harder to get to than it looks.

Default TB cleaning

You can spray MAF sensor/throttle body cleaner on a white lint free rag and gently wipe out the TB deposits.

Long white gym sock over a long wooden dowel = giant que tip.

Spray cleaner into bore so it can soften the buildup. Soak the tip in cleaner and swap away. It is slow and tedious but it works.
