I have a 2003 xk8 I am putting new pads and rotors on. I noticed the rears have those wire clips around the calipers/pads, however, my fronts do not. They have the holes for them, but no wire clips. Should they have them, or not? Anybody else not have them?

Yes, I also have a 2003 and it has the little wire springs. Someone changed the pads and forgot to reinstall them.

 

And youll need them to stop the pads from rattling which is the wires purpose in life
