What are some common problems with 2000 to 2006 XK8's?

The MOST COMMON PROBLEM is not reading the FAQ's before posting this question.

To summarise:
1. tensioners (early plastic)
2. cooling system (plastic components/lots of rubber hoses)
3. so called "sealed for life" transmission (fluid and filter changes increase unit life)

Electrical/electronic module issues are rising as the vehicles age.
