Well, one thing you need to be careful is the absolute rubbish that occasionally finds its way onto this forum. Fulton is badly mistaken in saying that Blue Jaguars, Last longer, run better, attract more attention from women, extend your life, and make you better looking.
The actual colour this applies to is, of course, green.
I will admit - as glamorous as as the new beauty is - her sensible sister in the background presents VERY well in those colors - and has given me no real trouble in 3 very pleasant years of ownership

What a conundrum. But...... Despite the international crisis represented by blue vs green, I'd go for your beautiful blue x100 instead of a green X-type any day.
My wife and I visited Jim and his wife yesterday and I am happy to report that his Jaguar XK8 is absolutely beautiful. The dark blue exterior with ivory interior is what I call 'sailboat' colors....very pretty indeed. I took it for a ride and it handled exceptionally well. As far as I am concerned, it is the best bang for the buck today. Nothing else even comes close. Now I am thinking of getting an XK8 for myself!
Congratulations! Perfect color IMHO (OK I'm biased), she's a beaut!
I second that! Great color combo. I purchased mine with 15K miles and in showroom condition. It's been a great car so far....but still need to change the tensioners...
The dealer rechecked all the coolant lines, made sure all the clamps were good and snug, replaced the plastic crossover hose(?) that runs along the centerline of the top of the engine, and topped off the coolant.
A week later - all looks dry and happy - but I'm keeping an eye on it and checking my coolant levels.
