Hi all, I am looking to install the in line resistor to the convertible hood pump in the trunk. Anyone have a source for it or an extra resistor I can purchase? I rather not have to splice one myself so I am looking for the plug and play version. I thought Reverend Sam sold these but can’t reach him. Thanks.

 

If you are in the GTA there are apparently two places (near Sherway Gardens) that may have them. I will be in the area on Monday to check it out. If they do I will let you know. If you are not in the GTA and need one shipped let me know. They will most likely have to be spiced in but that job is real easy.

The Rev is no longer making up the "plug & play" kits, nor is anyone else, far as I know.

There are some possible resistor sources named in the "Instructions" paper here. A reliable Hong Kong vendor on EBay, but it takes weeks to receive the resistor.

Success.......found lots of 250w 0.15 ohm resistors A-1 electronics for $8 eack. nice units with threaded ends so install will be a cinch. They are located at 196 North Queen Street in Etobicoke.
