Covertable top modified to fit flush

Does anyone know if this has alreay been tried?

I hate the tonneau!!!!!

I want a flush appearance like that on a newer gen 2 XKR/8. Either using the existing top or one from another car.

I agree with you, it ain't the prettiest solution but I don't see how it would be possible.

I think its inconvenient but I appreciate the retro look. To me if it were flush it would look like all of the others of today. While the newer XK's are indeed beautiful and I wish I could afford one, I do see a resemblance to many of the Jananese convertibles.
