just put in my new hoses today as others have said but it took about five hours hardest part was getting the new hoses down the a pillar and about an hour to clean up all the fluid that leaked under the carpets someone had tried to use the compression fitting and new hose treatment that did not work and leaked under the carpet sure is nice to have a top that goes down at the push of a button but the caps on the latch hoses at the pump worked but just not right for the cat

jaguar sold a hose repair kit for awhile that spliced in between the floor and the latch on the drivers side and has since quit making it which tells you something about splicing into the line to do a repair . the hoses get brittle over time and finding a spot to splice in that wasn't damaged from heat deterioration was difficult.

This is the splice used.http://www.jagrepair.com/images/AutoRepairPhotos/PresentationRepairConnectors.pdfhttp://www.jagrepair.com/images/AutoRepairPhotos/Repair+Kit+Instructions.jpg
It is no longer a stock item because it failed.
