Default Convertible top problems.

Gents,

Looks like I've encountered my first issue. Now, when I hit the switch for the convertible top, the main latching loop in the centre front of the top came off. Thankfully I still have the loops to either side, above the driver and passenger seats.

Now, can someone with the bolts still there please let me know what size they are so I can nip down to Lowes and get this fixed? I already tried with Gorilla glue and only got blood curling *SNAP* for my trouble. I would really appreciate the help here.

Read through online service manuals but can't find anything. I am assuming it is a metric nut (British car) but with me recently relocating here from aboard, I have no spare bolts anywhere or thread gauges to test it.

In the interest of archiving information for Jag owners, the centre latch loop requires an M6 oval head bolt while those to the side require M5 bolts.

No more help required, cheers.
