Default 2008 convertible rear window

HELP!! I have a 2008 xk8 convertible and the rear glass has become ‘un’ bonded!! Does anyone out there know if/ how it can be fixed without a new roof?

I would take it to a locally owned, long-time-in-business shop that specializes in automotive interiors and convertible tops....

I replaced my top in 2019. I lowered it yesterday and heard cracking like I left an empty water bottle in the way. Today I look and the top is cracked

Possibly yes. Search the X150 Section for your 2008 XK.

unsure, done by local shop who was supposed to be good. labeled as German Canvas top

Our OEM tops were indeed built in Germany. But they were of such high quality that it really surprises me to see yours crack like that. The photo gives me the impression that your top has taken a hell of a beating over the years. Did it sit out in direct sun exposure all day every day?

it was outside only for one year, and then inside garage all other times. just not washed recently
