I recently needed to top up the coolant in my X100 which requires 'Long Life Engine Coolant ref WSS-M97B44-D Coloured Orange". The coolant I used is Zerex G30 specifically for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. It clearly states on the labeling that it conforms with WSS-M97B44-D but it isn't orange in color, it's a very light pink / purple color. I drove the car for a short distance after topping up and all seems well. I was wondering if anyone else has experience with this coolant.

Clearly says recommend for Jaguar.

If the manufacturer states it meets JLR specification, there should be no issue with using it.

G30 is for VWs. Same formula pretty much but it’s purple.

Ford Europe and Jaguar used Texaco Red AKA Havoline Dexcool. Next time you top up Prestone brand dexcool is the right color, cheaper and concentrate is more readily available

 

If you look at the label on the jug it doesn't list VW.
