Toped up my coolant slightly yesterday only by a small amout with the recommended ante freeze I have always used, had truble starting this morning as if the plugs were damp, car runs fine now,any idea what could have been the problem anyone.

Without codes from an OBDII reader, it's a guessing game.

Perhaps you were holding your tongue the wrong way whilst turning the key.

Terrific example of the insight and HUGE technical resources for which JF stands tall.
Congrats all round, Stu & Graham . . . another pear of wisdom to decorate my day!

As to Graham's issue, I suspect unrelated. +1 to codes.
Let's see tomorrow's start when you don't top up.

Cheers,

Ken

Hey Graham,

Beyond the jesting, I really do believe your Jaguar is playing mind games with you . . . not saying you're imagining or anything even close to that . . . just that I suspect the two incidents (top up followed by poor starting) may be unrelated, unless you do your topping up from 10m away . . . LOL. See what the next week brings and let us know.

Best wishes,

Ken
