Default Correct Nav DVD for 2006 XKR

I am under the impression that only two Alpine DVDs will operate my 2006 XKR system- the early BM9JU91E and the later BM9JG91F.
Am I correct, and is the JG91F version significantly more desirable?

Thanks,
Moseley

Hi Mosely,

I have an 05 XK8, which I presume has the later BM9JG91F disc. Although I've personally never used the older version, it would make sense to me that the newer version would contain more updated maps/POI data and therefore would be more desirable. That being said, I no longer use mine as I've changed out my head unit thereby rendering my nav inoperable. If you're looking to purchase a disc, feel free to PM me.

Default Nav System

I have a 06 XKR with the Alpine system. The newest disk is a 2005 version produced by NAVTEK. I have searched high and wide for over a year and there is not a newer disk available. Jag has since moved to a 2 disk system. The only solution I have found is to replace the system with a Garmin, which is upgradable from the internet, and I am in the process of doing that, thanks to this forum.

Go Luck
