Default Coventry Wheels for XK8

Hello, Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2012 for you all. Had anyone installed Coventry Wheels brand into their XK's? I'm thinking of replacing my Revolver wheels and saw these two models in Wheel Warehouse for a reasonable price. Want to know about fitment and quality. Your thoughts about which one is welcome, thanks.

The Whitley is a little more up to date and looks nice. Can you photoshop both onto your pics?

I also like the Whitley over the Hornet. Will try to photoshop them on the car.

I'm actually partial to the Hornet, as it corresponds to the OEM revolver wheels somewhat. I would be interested of a photoshop rendition of them as well. I have a set of revolvers that at one point long ago someone did a very poor job of chrome plating, and when up close you can see much pitting and flaking. New wheels are a must for me in 2012.

The Whitleys look similar to the Sepangs, which are OEM and are my favorite OEM wheels. I would go with them.

I still prefer the Hornets, but both are nice.

I'm looking for some new wheels for my 2007 xk and I found these.
They claim that they are made specifically for Jaguars. Are these a preferred wheel for jaguar owners or is their claim of "made for Jaguars" just a sales pitch? Price is pretty good and they look nice.

Coventry wheels, apparently, specifically designed for Jaguars do not meet spec for
xkr 20" rims. I believe that Jag front wheels for these cars call for a 9"x20" size.

The Coventry's are available in a maximum 8.5"x20" for the front.

This may or may not be a problem in mounting a spec'd tire, but, I wonder if it would
then, visually, not fill the wheel well as well. And, I would imagine the front end would need to be re-aligned. Would the smaller wheel help with meeting camber
specs?

I have an XK and I'm happy with 19 inchers.

Default XK8 Wheels

I'll try to post a picture soon of my 1998 XK8 with the 19" Hornet Wheels. I personally went with the staggered set. I purchased mine from Discount Tires Direct as a package and have been very happy with them. Today, I did have to order a replacement as one was damaged due to poor Louisiana road conditions. I was able to call DTD who contacted TSW who makes them and a replacement should arrive in about a week. Stick with the 19" as I think anything larger will have a poor ride quality. Hope this helps

Any pics yet? I found a great deal on Hornets but wondered what they look like on the XK8.
Thanks
