I went to change out my coil packs and plugs and the loom is just crispy and insulation falling off everywhere. Surprised it was still running. In any case, is the coil loom the same from the XK8 to the XKR? If so I'll just harvest the loom from the parts car.

 

The coil connectors are the same but the ENGINE HARNESSES are different.(supercharger adds components an sensors)

 

my XK8 coil harness is the same as yours - was getting multiple misfires. right now I used electrical tape while I either search for a replacement harness or cut and install heat shrink and inline splices
