Default Daily Driving

I'm a firm believer in the recent Hemmings column that older cars fix themselves, if driven enough.

I've put close to 1,000 miles on my 01 XK-8 since last week and I love driving it. Seems to be "smoothing out"...or I'm used to the ride vs. my S-90.

Of course in contrast to some of the fabulous pictures members post of their cars and lovely settings there is the reality of Upstate NY:

Which was caused by:

My weekend trip to Rochester was a blast. But the birds seemed particularly interested in my car....I'll spare you all the gory details!!!

It took me to the office today, but I need to be in Albany Tuesday, probably take the Volvo as I need to bring my tools.

So anyone else have any "daily Driver" shots to share?

All of my photos are the daily driver variety. The XKR is the only vehicle I own, so it’s either drive it or walk.

What is the heart tag on your key chain?

My wife keeps the small heart shaped dog tags of our dogs who've departed.

Mine is a "Hello Kitty".

Oh...and as my luck would have it, I was pushing the car a bit last night on the highway on the way home and the darned fail safe & rear light lights came on.

Don't remember any tranny thud or hitting the brakes hard from 85 mph to exit the highway.

Did a boat load of research last night on these forums.

This place is incredible!!!
