Dash LED Bulbs
Hey Lads,
It has been a few years since I originally replaced all of my dash bulbs with LED.
Over that time, slowly but surely, they all started flickering, dimming out and simply failing.
I want to go back in and replace them again but for the life of me, I do not remember where I originally purchased them or what the PN's were.
Anyone have some intel on the bulbs and where to pic them up from?

yes. I read somewhere on this forum that they most closely approximate the originals. And they look great. Dim and brighten function work perfectly as well. I couldn’t be more pleased with them.
I can’t imagine liking a bare white LED look. And I’m sure it would degrade a persons night vision when turned up to the same level as the red LED’s.

Under the “for what it’s worth” heading:
For the past 40 to 50 years red hued instruments lighting has been the gold standard for preserving night vision, especially on military applications where night vision is critical. Of course you want any lighting to be as dim as possible and still be able to see the instruments easily at a glance.
but very recently some research is showing that very dim amber lighting might have benefits not previously known.
