Dash wood finish cracking

I have a gouge in my Veneer - Passenger Airbag side.
Unbelievably, the first owner described it to the Jaguar Main Dealer as 'Stiletto Damage' and that was written into the service report and history !!!! It's quite fun showing people the paperwork but one day I will have to get it repaired.
The Veneer is burnished with a thick lacquer applied and I'm advised that any French Polisher can repair it - but obviously when it's removed from the car.

search the forum - there is a thread from who successfully restored the dash panels. If you don't want to try yourself - reach out to Saul at British Autowood and he may be able to assist

quite likely the damage was from a gal’s stiletto high heels on the occasion(s) she had her heels high up and used the dash veneer as a “brace”.
