Default Dashboard vent not working

Hi all,

Wondering if you knowledgeable people can shed some light on this.

RHD XKR 2003
Seems the right vent in the centre of dash seems to now not be working. All others on dash work.

Is this a simple fix? Dodgy solenoid?

Thanks,

Jody

If there's airflow to the Centre Vent LH side but not to the RH side, I'd first suspect the Centre Vent RH thumb wheel control to be the cause rather than AC Module or one of the Servo Motors.

Thanks, Graham. Is there an easy way to check this?

I've seen the Rev's video on how to remove the wood dash he that helps?

YES - it's an excellent guide. Watch out for the spring clips that hold the panel on. They have a bite like a rabid dog.

With the panel out of the way, the Centre Vent simply unscrews and lifts off.

You can then check from the rear whether the flaps and vanes are operating with the thumb wheel.

If it's broken, a used replacement is the best option.
