My seat stopped moving in an area where I couldn't access the bolts. I ended up being able to remove the seat by applying power directly to the fore/aft motor. Once removed, I sent the module to Module Masters for a rebuild. ModuleMasters promptly returned the module saying it does not need a rebuild. When pressed, they said they do no testing, saying the test is when you install it in your car. They refunded my $100, so nothing cost me $50 in shipping! After replacing the reach motor drive cable/spring as well as the tilt motor (thanks to Colquan1066 ) I purchased a used module from ebay. After fixing cracks and re dying the seat, it was time to reinstall the seat, and guess what? No movement at all. The headrest makes noise when the seatback is folded forward, but that's it. Any help is appreciated. Fuses are ok.
does the headrest go up and down? if not the cable probably needs 'fixed'...that is totally different than the seat not moving.
if the passenger seat functions properly you can pull that control unit and use it temporarily to move the drivers seat if that doesn't work I'd look very carefully at the wiring for frays etc
if swapping them does work then you still have a control unit issue, there are different units based on vehicle years also some units are programmable

The passenger seat doesn't move either. The switches on that seat may be the problem as they don't seem to move. I may try pulling the module as you suggest anyway. My back and knees want me to tap out.
since nothing works and you confirmed the fore aft motor functions it sounds like you have:
a faulty control unit
and/or
a fault between the connector>wiring>motor(s)
given that you have tried two control units I would sure be looking carefully at the wiring/connector first
maybe you can confirm the other motors function by also powering them separately

the wiring running along the screw is know to oft times get damaged, check that.
Even though mine was secured it was damaged,
these are shots from my 2005 drivers seat
Thanks for the pics. I did notice my wiring was a bit dodgy. a lot of the black cloth wrap was unraveling. I used electrical tape to secure it out of the way. Perhaps I need to go through it all with a fine tooth comb.
