I loved that program when it worked. It was so detailed a 5th grader could follow it. I tried to get that thing running on later computers, and it would never work. I sold both Jags, and miss them for sure. I did a lot of work on them using that software. I hope you can get it functioning.

Yeah, I sold my jags. So, I tried getting jtis to work after xp or some later os, and no luck. I hope you guys can get the thing to work, I'm done with for the time being. I'd like another jag, for sure!

@UKnFor-dluv-expat I already did - see my linked post. I built a VM template, so all you need to do is install virtualbox and then hit import. Does other Jags too.

Quick note here to say that I have rebuilt the JTIS VM in windows XP, now with a better acrobat reader, Virtualbox guest additions tools support so you can copy/paste straight from the desktop, the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC) is thrown in, and link to the XJ40 service manual on the desktop as well. Same install steps as before. Many thanks to @michaelh for the EPC package. See update link and instructions in the post/thread here:

Or if you just want to get straight to the VM template, its here:

Throwback I just wanted to thank you for your XP work and Vbox templating - really useful. I'm investigating a lean Bank 1 condition on my xkr so looking to map out all the tubes I need to check because they are so hidden away. I have a couple of issues - for example if I try to navigate into the P codes under DTC, and click on OBD or EOBD under powertrain, adobe reader complains 'there was an error opening this document. The file cannot be found' - I'm not sure if its a bit of JTIS that doesn't work or if it is a Adobe/XP path problem? I would try a global search but that is greyed out and only local search available. Anyway thanks again for what you've done!
