I had the advantage that I could ensure the plug was square by poking it with a screwdriver. The guy in the video did express concern about cross threading.
Calling it 30, 40 min might be toooo short a time, with clean up, set up and taking things into and out of the trunk... And the amount of time I spend just staring at things, lol, worried 🤣

I do the staring at things. I learned the hard way that I need to take it steady if you're a very part time mechanic.

I was taking the cylinder head off the V8 in the very old Range Rover, it was late, I was tired and I'm not good at left & right. I was 'loosening' the cylinder head bolt and ping - it sheared off as I was tightening the wretched thing. Oh well, I'll keep going. So what do I do? The same damned thing to the next bolt. I went to bed.
