Door Clip
Can anyone help please ................
I have just removed the door card to install WhiteXKR's Remote Hood kit, and have found the usual broken door clip - rear top. In fact, the whole of the interior of the door is a mess, so I assume that at some time in the past, the card has been removed to (probably) bash out a dent from the inside, and whoever did the job has not been too careful with reassembly.
The clip - C2N 3836, is no longer available from Jaguar so I am going to try and rebuild the old one. Unfortunately, the broken bits are not lying in the bottom of the door so I can't use them to get the dimensions.
Could someone with a spare bracket (or door card) take the trouble to measure the distance between the base and the top for me please - I think I could then make an alumin(i)um bracket to replace the missing bit. Also, a photograph of an unbroken one would be very helpful. Right Hand Side (UK Driver's side).
Thanks in anticipation ...........

Cheers,
David.
