weirder and weirder
P door doesnt lock with key (old post) Did hard reset and now when I lock d door with key the alarm goes off unless I physically lock p door from inside.
Also found blown fuse(#2 d locking actuators) no change with new fuse. I also now have the d door lock cycling lock/unlock when put in gear , Does any of this make sense to anyone?

Micro switches. Jaguar P/N C2N1908 but available from other sources at lower cost.

Copy that, micro switch was t to check, I assume it is inside the door panel?

Yes,go to the sticky how to videos number 4 (door latch removal and replacement )this will give you a good idea of what to do.
