I have a rattle coming from inside the drivers door. I'm going to pull the interior trim off this week using the instructions on the forum. Any suggestions on the potential source of the noise that I should look for? It's not the door speaker. It seems to be coming from just above the armrest area.

 

hmm, besides the window rails, internal to the door not much around the armrest, hopefully just a loose mounting point. Could be wiring harness, and there's all sorts of wiring loom/cable 'taped' to the inside of that door, more than likely just something dangling.

 

I had noticed a slight rattle when closing the door, and when I installed whitexkr's convertible top controller, I had to pull the door card off and found 2 of the plastic ribbed screw door card fasteners in the bottom of the door. Someone left them there before me.

Mine sounded like the whole door was goint to come off. Only took a little more than a 1/4 of a wrench to tighten it and it is as quiet as can be now.
