Default downpipes

Talked to Jason about a set of downpipes for the 97 XK8. Does anyone have any input regarding these aftermarket pipes? I know this has been discussed before, but want to hear from anyone who may have installed them. I know there was a group buy when the prototypes were being built.

Thanks guys
Bruce

Are you going to do catalysts or track pipes?

Hey there-

I installed the Nameless downpipes last summer. I've been very happy with them, although be aware of some customer service issues.

You can take a good look at my experience (with photos) HERE.

If you do get the nameless pipes you should not have any problems now.

The Coupe benifited from my problems and I benifited from some one elses.

Anyway they seem to have the correct jigs built now for the early models that are not supercharged.

The only thing I did when I installed mine was to cut down the studs that are closest to the heads. This was done to get a socket on the nut to tighted them down. Otherwise there was not enough room to get anything on them.
