Driver's side window problem

Driver's side window problem
I never got around to solving this problem. So here's a quick explanation:
My driver's side window must have a loose bolt or something. The problem is that the window won't lower or rise on command. It's not an electrical problem, since I can hear a faint click when I press on the button. It's also not the motor or the regulator since if I bang on the inside of the door hard enough the window will obey my commands. It'l lower and raise, but slowly and at a certain point it seems to change position and move a little faster. If I raise it again and then leave it alone it will stop obeying, so to speak. It's almost as if there is something in the way. I'm thinking that maybe I should perform a window adjustment, but is there anything else to check?
PS. It's not the dying battery indicator. The window doesn't move at all when I open the door, whereas the passenger door and window work correctly.

I managed to fix it. After removing the door trim and diving ahead and removing unnecessary screws I was able to identify the problem. There was a disconnected power cable for the motor. After connecting that I had to reseat the glass and connect everything again.
I did notice, however, that I might have done a tiny error with the window adjustments. The window doesn't go all the way up. It stops a couple millimeters shy of where it should and when I open the door it drops a few more than it should, but as long as no water gets in, I can live with a little wind noise.

The window has a regulator stop adjustment that you can set higher or lower as a reference for the window drop. With the door panel and the interior plastic liner off you can see a large torx bolt on the regulator near the center of the door. It is behind the clear plastic water shedder and you will need to cut a small slit in it to access the bolt.
It's a bolt on a slide and by adjusting it toward the rear of the car you can set the max window height higher.
Sorry I don't have JTIS handy to post the procedure.

The procedure is posted as images in this thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...26/#post207913
It's a ridiculously complicated procedure to adjust the windows if you do the whole thing, but the bit you need is on p4 and 5, which isn't too bad.
