Default Dropping subframe

Need to replace my subframe and have purchased a replacement. Trying to drop today. Have bought an engine mount to keep engine up but just checking I need to get to this bolt?

also starting to try and loosen these but even with a very long bar they are not moving. Worries I might shear a bolt? Assume these need to come out also? Any advise on how to not break them?

thanks in advance.

rhe reason for dropping is this and I am going to get all bushes replaced to just freshen it up

aluminium and steel are not friends!

Yes, use either a short 3/8th socket rather than a 1/2 inch and it will fit or a crows foot, I have used both successfully.

And for the other nut/bolt, try a bigger breaker bar.

Good luck. It's a lot of work but the safest approach to attacking that seized fulcrum bolt.

so I have bought some 3/8 crowsfoot but still cannot get them to move the bolt. Can you confirm it’s 15mm bolt Head as it feels like it will churn the bolt head. The way the bolt is sat I cannot get it to sit flat and it just feels like it will churn the head.

i am not planning on reusing the subframe so I might just cut the section that blocks it out of the way! It’s getting really frustrating now...ll

You got, cut off wheel, it won't like the aluminum, so have a few disk and wear eye protection.

Curious - would it be possible to just remove the torx from the subframe mount & leave it in place?

I see that one is hidden, though.
