Default DSC System Fault

Does anyone else get this fault intermittently? It keeps appearing but as soon as I re-start the car it clears. My local independent garage (CCC in Chelmsford) put it on diagnostics and no fault found. I'm not happy about the idea of traction control / yaw control / ABS turning themselves off at random...

Battery starting to fail, probably. Lowish volts upset computers. It'll start the car fine but you get faults.

Mine does this too from time to time (say once every couple of months), and clears itself as soon as you re-start. Did it today as it happens. Isnt the battery, as its on a CTEK trickle feed ALL the time its not in use plus battery is less than 12 months old.

Whats the best way to clean the wheel sensors?

In answering my own question, ive just found this bit of great advice from Rev Sam. Will be giving it a go tomorrow. It may not be dirty wheels sensors, but that's where I m starting, and will see what happens.

You can eliminate one other option even before you remove and clean the sensors. Just wiggle the sensor connectors more tightly into place and see if the problem goes away for a while. I narrowed it down to my front left connector - the pins would start to lose contact after a few weeks; especially when backing up in a tight turn. I slightly bent the pins in the sensor and then "carefully" replaced the connector. That was almost a year ago and I haven't had a DSC issue yet. (shhhhh.......)
