Saludos Felipe! Espero que te encuentres bien! Me pasó algo similar con mi ‘04.

Jump start it, then check to see if any doors show up as open when they are shut. In my case, the passenger door was showing open and it was activating the alarm. It was the door latch microswitch.

Si te resulta que es eso, es una reparación sencilla. Me avisas y te digo donde puedes conseguir un reemplazo y las instrucciones para efectuarlo.

Agree with frankc about the battery. But, something similar happened to me once when I stuffed the key fob in my pocket with a bunch of other things and the alarm and lights started going off. I guess the buttons got pushed accidentally.

Battery, it was the battery. That one was a Bosch bought at Pep Boys two years ago with a three years warranty. Went to Pep Boys, they tested it, found it failed and gave me a new one at no cost. Thanks to all that gave me their feedback.

Thats the thing about these forums we are 4034 miles apart yet I was able to pass on my thoughts, along with others of course, and help you solve your problem. Its happened more than once or twice in reverse too. The world if definitely getting smaller!
Glad you sorted it in the end.

Battery, once it gets too low around low 11 volts it wakes up the car then starts all kinds of issues with modules like wiper, alarm etc. Replace the battery and keep it on a trickle/float charger so it has full power all the time

You may have a permanent drain that is running the new battery down and doing the same. You need a dvom meter to monitor the battery and any battery drains. Im sure there are how to's in the tech section or somewhere around here. Thats were i would start at this point to verify

Id bet a bar of chocolate that its a bad earth. Remove all your connections. Glass paper them put them back on tight. Dont forget the Earth Strap under the car. Just follow the major connection from the battery and remove, clean, and refix tight. Probably explains it appeared fixed when you replaced the battery, which I still think was a good move.

I once had an embarrassing incident with this. When I put my foot on the brake the horn blew. I got some dirty looks in traffic lines.

Reminds me of a Disney movie, Big Fat Liar, where they have a saphire blue XK8 convertible that the child protagonist, portrayed by Frankie Muñiz, rewires as a revenge on the owner. As a result, everytime the driver pressed on the breaks, the horn blew. When he pressed the gas pedal, the wipers went on, etc. Somehow this affected the XK8s breaking performance and to the point it pushed a monster truck’s rear tires at a stoplight. In retribution, the truck driver crushed the Jag.

Not surprised it's crying out for attention. It's LONELY sitting in the garage.
