Andy.
Dunno. As you see above, if you get the HF one, then the green adapter fits, but I don't know if there is a named spec for that jag interface. I've used it with many other vehicles, so, for me, having all the different adapters has great value.

I've even used it to pressurize brake systems when I've done one-person brake bleeding on my VW bus.

I used it this afternoon to flush out and renew the XKR's coolant because the old coolant didn't test out for the -5F we will be getting tomorrow.

Just to be pedantic, the color of the coolant for the 2000 is yellow/gold, not green. But, more to the point, dried coolant will leave a residue. To my elderly eyes, the residue from the blue coolant and the yellow coolant are more obvious. Regardless, you can search for dried residue. Fluids always leak down. If you're seeing coolant in the "undertray" of the radiator then it must be leaking down from somewhere above. The first obvious place are the hose connections, but I'm sure you've already checked there. My money is on a failing tank seal, probably near the bottom where it's difficult to see. Do you know when your radiator was last replaced? If it's original then it's far past time for replacement. The radiator is probably giving you advanced notice of impending failure.

Now this sounds a lot like what I was expecting to hear. I'm not certain if it's the original rad but I have no record of it being replaced. What's the procedure like? Could one get it done in a day do you think? Also, would you expect a radiator leak to show up on a pressure test?

It's more of a PITA than it should be. You'll (obviously) drain the radiator and remove the hoses. Disconnect the trans cooler lines. Remove the fan assembly. Disconnect the A/C drier lines (evacuate the A/C system first), remove the top mounting gizmos, and (with an assistant because you have to do this from the side) lift out the radiator and condenser as an assembly. That's the gist. Yes, it can be done in a day. No, it is not fun. Yay, Jag for making a fairly easy job a difficult one.

I would imagine such a leak would show up on a pressure test, but it's possible it's only failing when the engine is hot. If you've already closely examined all the other myriad coolant hoses (radiator, valley, heater, octopus, and throttle body) and found no leak nor residue, only the radiator is left.

Oh, BTW, there is a nipple at the top of the left side radiator tank. Some models used it to connect to the expansion tank, others don't use it. The aftermarket radiators usually have this nipple open, and it's up to the installer to block it off if it's unused. Check there. That will cause a leak only when the engine is hot and *might* not show up during a cold pressure test.

So the 2000 is a different spec than the 2002 (XKR) spec of “Orange” ?

Same. I should have said orange instead of gold. Poor choice of words on my part. Anyway, "yellowish" and not green.
