Does it come with a little English troll that jumps out and fixes your car when you open up the book?

If it does, I'm in!!!

I don't know about the cars, but the books are doing fine. I guess I should have bought a couple of dozen a few years ago when they were around $35.00

I just ordered Jaguar XK8 the complete history and it cost about 45.00.
Let's see, should I order this book or save it for the next mechanics visit!!!!
Hmm. Let me think!!

Why are the new ones so much cheaper that and used ones?

They fluctuate a lot as far as price, mine was up there for a while when they were higher than that. Once I sold my XK I put it up there for a lot less than the rest to get rid of it. It sold a month ago for 75 I think. Thankfully I found it for only like 30 bucks.

I bought "Driving Ambition" the Mclaren F1 book around 8 years ago for about 75 on Amazon. Then about 4 years ago I sold it for 700 bucks on Amazon. I think it's back down to around 150 now.

Holy what! Sounds intriguing, but those absurd prices sure aren't when you're in the middle of replacing hydraulic hoses.

Based on those Amazon prices I have taken my copy off the shelf and put it in the safe.I bought my book in August 2010 and paid Australian dollars 44. Current US$ equivalent is the same.

I just checked and found that I paid $19.77 in January 2010 from Amazon. Knowing that helps to offset depreciation on the car -- a little.

Truly weird, as often in Amazon. I bought my copy for 21 Euro from Amazon Spain earlier this year.

Just bought one for £25, compared with ten times that if I'd bought from Amazon.

No more XK/XKRs after 2015 so looks like our cars will increase in value!
