Default Engine removal - rear seal replace-anything else to be done same time?

Hello to all,
My 2001 XKR has 91K and has developed small oil leak in two places.
#1 Main bearing oil seal rear(small drip) and
#2 upper oil pan silicone seal (no drip just moist).

The engine has to be removed to accomplish repairing the 2 leaks.
Thank the lord I have after market warranty, they have already approved 1900.00 for the job.
Mostly Labor cost, about 80 bucks in parts and another 60 in oil, rest is labor.

My question- since the engine will be out of car is there anything else I can or should do based on this?

Anything to transmission, suspension, hoses, lines, clutch, A/C blower motors etc.

Anything to be concerned about with removing and replacing the engine?

Any wisdom for repair/upgrades now rather than later would be very much appreciated.

I am not doing the work, the repair shop is.

Thanks for ideas and suggestions.

Happy Motoring...

Looks like a good time to inspect the engine mounts thoroughly for deterioration.

Thanks WhiteXKR,
I can always count on you for good info. How many engine mounts are there?
Thanks again.

Happy Motoring...

Two hydraulic engine mounts and a rear engine/transmission mount.

If you haven't flushed your transmission, this is the time, as you can now suck the oil out of the torque converter (takes a little time, but you can get it all out).
