Unhappy Evaporative Emission System Leak

Darn code is still with me. I have been trying to resolve this one for months. Changed out the gas cap, that did not help. Found a disconnected pipe on the drivers side charcoal canister at the rear of the car and plugged that back in and cancelled the code with my reader, but alas, it cam back. Traced down the pipe around the filler neck inside the trunk and all looks find. Cleaned out the filer drain to make sure no water was backing up, no change. I do not smell any gas fumes or hear that clicking sound that so many talk about when the cannister purge valve quits functioning, but I guess it could still be that .

I am open for suggestions. I am not a mechanic but enjoy working on cars and have a CEN-TECH OBDII/EOBD Scanner I use to check trouble codes. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check this short hose connection on the passenger side? That one gave me a code P0456.

You should check the entire system with a 'smoke-machine'.

There are many TSBs (the ones nobody reads) to help with diagnosis.

Default Had a small leak code

For what its worth, had the slight leak code and it2 turned out to be the cannister close valve,
