Smile F1 switchshift

Hi everyone.need help on how to locate and change the batteries(f1 switchshift) on my jaguar 2000 model xkr450 paramount.
Bought it 1 month ago and from what i understand the batteries are somewhere in the steering wheel

No idea... But Man,,, share some pictures. I've never heard about nor seen one of these things.

THAT is a really pretty machine.

If you would. What are the batteries your looking for control? The small buttons on the back of the steering wheel?

yes.the f1 switchshift gearbox from racelogic

is it possible those buttons just unscrew and the batteries are inside

There is a procedure to remove the Airbag on YourTube. This will reveal any Batteries that are within the Steering wheel body.

I have changed my steering wheel a couple of times, as well as the airbags, and wheel controls. No batteries found

Having worked on a car with this system I believe there are no batteries.

SPOKE TO COMPANY VIEZU TECHNOLOGIES LTD WHICH REPRESENTS PARAMOUNT PERFORMANCE AND THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL.
THE BATTERY FOR THE F1 BUTTON IS LOCATED IN THE HORN HOUSING IN THE STEERING WHEEL.ITS A 9V BATTERIE.

That would be a jag ..the whole thing relying on a PP3 battery !!!

If you still have the car I know exactly where this battery lives - I would send a pic but I can't log into the forum on my phone. It's a box like cover on the rear right hand side of the steering wheel released by two tiny allen screws sunk into it. The battery is a p9 and the system seems to eat them! For pics etc ( I have what I whimsically call Paramount 450+ because it has all the mods of the 450 and a few that came along since.. ) you find me in the custom/modded Jag groups below:
