Default Failsafe engine mode?

On the 2001 Jag XKR convertible the door was sagging. The "Driver door open light kept coming on. The door metal was tearing at the hinge. So, we took of the door and repaired and welded a support then ground it down to fit. Carefully put it back on. During this time the battery went dead. This was the only problem the car has other than a control unit on the passenger seat. Now it won't start. I won't even click. It gives ER on the climate control display and beeps. This video shows what it displays. The single lady who owns the car, bought it on my recommendation, and is counting on me to fix the problem so she can sell it. what do I do?
HHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!

Low battery voltage will cause all kinds of weird-o errors. Mine would kick out ABS errors when my alternator joined the enemy.

What's your voltage with car off?

It did this with an old battery then. I replaced it with a new one and did the same thing.

Sorry for the obvious question, but did you disconnect the battery before welding?
