Default Few Teaser pics of what's coming to my Arden Xk8...

Those are the real deal OZ futura's for Arden (Arden Type 2) 19" wheels.

This is one of very few sets in the country, imported by John Schirtz at wheeltec Tampa. 19x9.5" fronts, 19x10" rears, wrapped in brand new Michelin Pilot Sports....

I got some other Arden goodies, including the Arden script shift surround, and the Arden Pedals....

AND... A set of Arden red powder coated valve covers. I've only seen these in the Arden catalogs in Germany...

Hopefully I'll have some time to maybe mount the wheels this weekend...

More to come.

Take care,

George

What exactly does Powered by Arden mean? Have you had some kind of ECU remap?

Default Tire size

9.5 & 10 inch wheels are oversize: well done there. They look great.

Question: what size are the tires? Can't wait to see them on the car.

Car has Arden cams, Arden ECU map, and full stainless Arden Exhaust. Arden's claim is +85 hp... I think that's a BIT ambitous.

255/40 r19 Front
285/35 r19 Rear

The car currently has a set of 20" HRE 540r's on it with 285's in the rear and 255's in the front. - But the Arden wheels are correct to the car.

Here's the ONLY picture I could find of an Xk8 wearing them.

Apparently there are several issues of Jaguar world Magazine that feature the Arden Cars, including a cover shot of a silver cabrio that has them.

Take care,

George

So I finally found a proper Arden convertible that has the wheels on it.

Here's some pics...

Take care,

George

When you say Arden cams, do you mean high lifters?

I wondered about high lifters because i had them on a previous car ( my Cosworth Granada) but with the variable valve timing i didn't think they'd make any difference to these engines . . .

Or do they, and if so, is it noticable?

A bit? even bolting an S/C onto it wouldn't gain that....like the prices, over inflated power claims too?

I'm now skeptical of Arden, they where the first recognized tuner (XK/XJ) company, but now there's loads that offer better products at a cheaper price.

The Racing green car obviously has the lower spring kit, wheels look good but the kit is dated.

I did not know that Arden made cams for our cars. That is interesting. Here is a photo of the other Arden wheels.

John,

Those are the later 20" Wheels.

Whats interesting is my car has the same sideskirts as the one you pictured, with the Arden script behind the front wheel and without the Air intake scoupe.

I've been trying to get in contact with you regarding your seats but my phone crashed and I had to restore it, and lost your number.

Would you be so kind as to PM it to me?

Thanks again,

George
