I have finished one of the projects, to make the center console look decent.

Previously I swapped the radio device to a pad and had to move some of the controls on there that could not be controlled by the pad.
Also I wanted a physical volume knob and some buttons to control the media.

I made a plastic keyboard to replace the ashtray, but I never liked it.

So I made a new keyboard and had a woodworker make a keyboard cover in walnut.

Then just 3D printing everything else.

I like it and best of all, it works!
As a bonus you can open the keyboard to access the 12v outlet below.

Am I the only one with a built in topless girl? look at the wood to the right of the 3 gauges. Once you see it you cant unsee it again.

 

Very impressive! Nice work... I especially like the repurpose of the useless little "tray" or whatever it is supposed to be.

 

The family is still laughing at your (un?) fortunate burl bookending. 🤣

 

Great Job. Not traditional, but that is why most of us drive cars that are not seen everyday on the street.
