Took her for her first MOT today after all the work I'd done. tense time as you all know, so many things to go wrong, was worried most about emissions and having to buy 2 cats. However she passed with one advisory, slight play in rear suspension on both sides. Yet I'd replaced the pivot bearing and set up the free play as per the recommended figure! emisions were way better than I could have ever hoped for ,only 0.02 for CO and 11 HC so no cat required for the kat this year

 

Congrats on passing the MOT which is much stricter and more involved than anything in OZ.

We just have to have the lights, windshield wipers, no cracks in windscreen and tyres pass in addition to no major oil leaks in order to get a RWC (road worthy certificate) which only needs to be obtained when selling a vehicle.

 

good to hear you pased. so glad i don't have to deal with yearley inspections hear in s.c. but in due time i think it is coming.
