My ABS and cruise control stopped working months ago....I tried everything recommended but nothing worked....Then I ran into some old threads warning about damaging ABS board when attempting to solder two connecting posts.....Like a fool I opened the sealed unit with a knife...the old post made me look closer at the board....sure enough, I cut through the side of a transistor piece breaking about 5 or 6 of its connections....bought used ABS brain for $140 installed and three warning lights went off including check engine, two warning messages are gone, and the light on the console for cruise control lit up and everything works....
