When I bought mine the color availability in the Luxe was not same as Ultimat. I went with Ultimat as a result but am very happy with them.

You should check that the color you want is available in both. Might not be.

 

I can buy black in either one. I plan to have my wife's first name monogrammed on the mats in gold. The thinner mat would probably look better and be easier to accomplish with the monogram.
